I just read there is going to be another season of Spiral which will be number 8. Season 7 ended tonight as just as good as always.

Yes, that was a nice surprise having read previously that Caroline Proust wanted to pack it in. Nice to see Tintin again.

A programme that I would avoid is Gold Digger on iPlayer. Just preposterous premise as nobody would want to shag that.

I just googled that as I thought maybe the BBC were doing a version of Made in Chelsea or Only Way is Essex - they wouldn’t stoop to that pile of dog mess!

Started watching "The Spy" on netflix. Good so far, and it is interesting to see Sacha Baron Cohen playing a non-comedic role. Also watching Season 3 of The Crown. The new cast are fantastic.

I am loving the Crown.

Sacha Baron Cohen is the most amazing man...The Spy was incredible. He was brilliant. He sort of fascinates because he is just so manic in other things...and I have to turn him off sometimes - but not The Spy...well worth the watch.

Guilt on iplayer is a great four-part series. Very much along the same lines of Better Call Saul.

I'm enjoying it as a history recap for me - I was a young boy when Aberfan happened for example, and it's interesting to be reminded of the details - but I don't feel it has the same impact as the previous seasons. Season 1 was fantastic; season 2, ok. I'm only up to episode 4 or 5 with this latest season but so far, it doesn't have the magic of the prior two. But I will watch it all the same!

Actually I feel just the same way. Season 1 and 2 had me grabbing the iPad every few minutes to check who this person or that person was as I knew their names but not much else. It doesn’t have the same depth...but I’m still enjoying a shiny new series.

I started watching a series from 25 years ago called ‘Our friends in the North’ I’d heard it mentioned several times but never knew what it was about.

So many well known actors/actresses including a much younger Daniel Craig

That was pretty big in its day. I never watched it...back then I preferred movies whereas now, much of TV is the new movies.

25 years ago, wow, now I feel really old! Loved the series when it first came out, and think I need to re-watch it.

Filmed in Newfoundland. Mate of mine guided for the film crew a winter or two ago. Posted a FB pic of Jason Momoa astride his Skidoo,
