Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?

Re: Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?
I'm going to give another mention in favour of Jack Taylor. I'm up to date now and they're on Netflix. Bizarrely it says season one, when wiki says the episodes cover two, even though the airing dates suggest a one off and then two short seasons.
It's always nice to see new regular locations, like Galway in this case and Shetland in...Shetland. so for the same reason I'm also going to give another shout to the Varg Veum series from Bergen (that should please Stinky )
I've recommended the Norwegian former child services worker, now PI, on the "Broadchurch" thread over on MBTTUK a few times.

Cold Feet
I loved it when it was last on and the 1st episode after a 13 year hiatus was definitely not disappointing

Fed Up. It's a documentary about childhood obesity in the US on Netflix and It had me spellbound from start to finish. It has even (partly) persuaded my husband to give up his Coca Cola habit! The kids were really admirable mostly and I wanted to smack their parents.
I've just also loved "Addicted to Pleasure" on Netflix too, a very enjoyable 4 parter on the history of Heroin, Sugar, Whiskey and Tobacco. British documentary at its best.

I managed about ten minutes of this nonsense. It was just unattractive people spouting simplistic and boring cliches about being middle aged. If I wanted to listen to that rubbish I'd go to one of HID's staff parties.

I watched Our Ex Wife which was okay but Home from Home was hilarious.
