I'm struggling to get into 'Travelers' on Netflix, recommended by a friend. I thought the initial premise was fascinating (people travel back in time from the future to 'fix' problems today, taking over dead bodies), but the episodes seem to be dragging. Can't decide whether to pursue it or not ... my friend said it gets better but I'm not sure I can hang in there ...

Also took a look at 'Upload' (people die and upload their 'personality' to a simulated environment where they can continue to exist). A bit superficial.

I don’t generally like sci fi programs/films. I like thrillers/dramas/cop/medical and gang/mafia type programs/films.

Loch Ness was quite good......it features an actress who was in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul with the scottish accent dropped. Mayday is quite unusual and like Broadchurch a bit in that almost anybody could be a suspect.

Code of a Killer is more of a docu/drama about the discovery of DNA coding to figure out who the murderer was based on true cases in the 80's in Leicester.

Jerseygirl I agree that White Lines is a load of crap and I wasted time by watching the whole series. How dumb can a person be..

It's not a bad show. The idea though is pretty cool.
It's filmed in Vancouver so i mainly watch it to see how many landmarks I can spot

I started watching 'Unorthodox' today. First episode in and Im impressed so far.

Ah so that's Vancouver; but the story is 'set' in a 'washington state' city, is it not? Presumably Seattle? I think I saw Washington plates on several cars in the show.

I just watched the episode where the entire team is captured and kept in cages, and interrogated. In the end, they get out. No explanation of who captured them or why. I sure hope there's some future explanation of this, otherwise, that was a totally wasted episode!

Me three.
For anyone interested in the music, these two seem to be responsible. As far as I can tell it's written for the show- or just used by the show - and features in all three seasons.
This piece is particularly good.

I have an idea they did some for The Bridge too.

Quite possible that some of K&B's stuff was in The Bridge. The opening theme - Hollow Talk - is by Choir of Young Believers.

Aaargghhh, aaargghhh, and thrice aaargghhh!

Completed season one... went off to watch other stuff for a week or so, decided to come back to this just now, it came up with Swedish subtitles.

Went to switch to English subtitles; not an option.

Testiklar!

And that's me being polite.

Sons of Anarchy 13 episodes now on Canadian Netflix. Only 12 years too late. Thankfully I had a VPN that worked when it came out on US Netflix and all seasons available on FX Now and you can buy it on Apple and Google.

Try here - https://wlext.is/series/springfloden...9_t82PR78bFAYg

It's a bit fiddly

Click 'play' as usual and if it doesn't work, click the box for a different server. It reloads, try play again.
Pay attention to the episode box. I have a vague recollection that sometimes clicking one box reset the other.

Once you get the hang of it, you can do it in your sleep.

Just started watching this Finnish thriller - Bullets

An ex-terrorist, Madina Taburova, who was presumed dead, turns up in Helsinki seeking political asylum. Using a fake identity, the Intelligence Agency officer Mari Saari has to befriend this ex-terrorist to find out why she's here. In order to uncover the mystery, Mari Saari has to form an unlikely partnership with an older streetwise narcotics cop. But everything is not as it seems.
And yes, there's a cop who didn't make it on time to dinner with his wife and daughter but that's out of the way in episode one.

It's on the same site as the post above.

Let me guess, the cop returns to his home town and tries to escape issues that troubled him in the capital city

Anyone watching Unorthodox on Netflix? Half in Yiddish, with subtitles. Interesting. Hard to understand how some people live.
