This one:

It may display twice because apparently it was a joint production between BBC and Netflix.

I found The Expanse when season 2 had came out so binged seasons 1 & 2. It's not perfect by any means but it has got consistently better as it has gone on, particularly with Amazon's billions behind it. It prompted me to read the books (8 so far, 9th being published this year) which are excellent. The Expanse has really raised the bar for TV Sci-Fi in my opinion. I find it hard to watch things like the Trek universe now with anti-gravity, shields and other mcguffins. The realism of the Expanse physics appeals too much.

I've watched The Boys. It had me at the dolphin through a windscreen scene....

A friend had recommended the books to me a few years ago, so I started reading and it hooked me. I know I read up to Cibola Burn, but cannot recall if I got further. I watched season 1 sometime last year, or maybe near the end of 2019. I got amazon prime about a month or so ago, primarily so I could watch the expanse (it worked out cheaper to get prime for a year than to buy the expanse on iTunes, plus there's the other benefits of prime in there too). I think I'm correct on this point, but a series does not cover a single book, it seems as though things spill over into the next series. I guess there is some sense there. I know it's pausing after season 6, so we'll have to see what happens after that, hopefully they'll continue and finish off with the other books, especially when the 9th and final one has been released.

They mostly say the book is always better than the movie but that's not the case with porn.

Now that Apple has a family subscription plan (Apple one) that enables me to get AppleTV+ along with itunes and storage for the same cost I was paying for itunes and storage only, I've subscribed and started on this. Early days but interesting premise.

Finished off season two of "For All Mankind" last night. Looking forward to season three. Also finished off "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier" too. I'm awaiting the new Loki series to appear fairly soon too.

Series 6 of Line Of Duty appeared on BritBox yesterday, but they are being buggers and releasing an episode a week. Totally not fair

I've started watching "The Inbetweeners", I had heard of it before, but never watched it. So far, well it's pretty much as I thought it might be, which is both good and bad.

I also started season two of Snowpiercer. Stopped part way through episode one, and will need to pick it back up again.

I have started using AirTV. I can watch dozens and dozens of UK TV programs live, or I can record them, or they are on demand. I no longer need BritBox etc.

Two shows I got through recently that I enjoyed were "Them" on Amazon Prime and also "The Innocent" on Netflix.

Them isn't for the feint hearted- it's kind of Stephen King-ish and mildly disturbing.

The Innocent was a good thriller.

Both Series.

3 days free trial. Approx $240 per year. I have purchased a 1 month subscription for $30. Via fire stick, but you can only have it on one fire stick. I just plug mine into whatever TV I want to use. You can watch programs up to 7 days after they have aired on TV. Also record or watch on demand. It’s a little clunky after using Netflix, Amazon etc. I shall be watching Corrie live TV at 2.30 this afternoon.

Innocent 2 is being shown in the UK this week. I prefer to wait until series have finished then binge watch.

Rise of the Phoenixes. Netflix. Its in Mandarin with English subtitles, beautifully filmed, lush costumes and sets, good looking principals, convoluted story so pay attention.

It does look spectacular. I think I will make a start on that tonight having just finished a Danish series.
