Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?

Beforeigners.
Present day Norway after many migrants from the past have mysteriously arrived. Great idea and so far (2 episodes) it's working. From the past...before...geddit?
It's still basically a cop show with some amusing observations. "We don't say Vikings now, we say Norse Descendants."
The female character is uncannily like Saga from The Bridge.

Last night we watched the first of a six-part documentary series by Adam Curtis on the BBC called "Can't Get You Out of My Head".
Wow.
It was mind-blowingly good, an incredible journey through modern history and the power of controlling the narrative on the way, exploring how we ended up "here". Can't wait to watch the rest of them, and for anyone who is even remotely interested in modern socio-political history it is an absolute must-see.

This one from 2016 blew my mind as well.

PS- all of the docs that Jings mentioned are here if anyone wants to see them. I just downloaded them all to watch on my TV.

Binged both seasons of "Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous" with my son this week. It wasn't too terrible.
Bar that, have been starting a run through of Taskmaster via it's / their Youtube channel. Finished off the first and second seasons, started on the third last night. Very enjoyable indeed, right at my sense of humour level.

The director is a genius.
He produced this in 2013:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2358891/ which is arguably the best film I've ever seen and won the some what racist "Best Foreign Movie" at the Oscars that year.

Apparently us Brits were evil bastards and we screwed up Iraq.
Episode 6 was totally spot on, we rely far too much on computer algorithms making decisions for us. We are all facked.

I must say I'm enjoying Wandavision. (Disney+). You need to have seen & enjoyed pretty much all the Marvel movies to understand what the clucking bell is going on & I'm just enough of a nerd to have seen enough to do that. It is an intriguing and well presented story thus far.

Last year he made us watch The Boys which I concede was quite entertaining.

+1 on The Boys. It had me at the Dolphin-through-the-windscreen-of-a-van-scene. Although the whale scene in season 2 outdid that in spades!
