Binged our way through all three seasons of "The Rain" the other week. Quite an interesting little show.

I see the second series of Criminal has been released, and I enjoyed the firs series so will be checking that out soon.

There's a few things apparently coming fairly soon; His Dark Materials series 2, and The Mandalorian season 2.

Now watching The Truth Will Out which appears to be available on C4 and possibly Acorn too. Very promising serial going by first two episodes.

Swedish again. I'm quite used to the accents and language now after 5 seasons of Beck among other Swedish cop shows

I've just finished season 4 of The Expanse, really enjoyed it. Whilst waiting for season 5 to come to air, does anyone have anything similar to recommend?

Anyone seen the new series of Spitting Image? If so where did you find it please? I looked at BritBox last night but couldn’t find it.

I watched the mini series "Challenger: The Final Flight" the other night. Very good indeed, barring the loss of life involved.

I am midway though series 4 of Fringe, so I'm nearly done.

BritBox now has all seasons of All Creatures Great and Small, and I'm somewhat tempted to start watching it. I remember my parent's watching it when I was (a lot) younger.

Just curious - are either of you big fans of the original movie (and book) that introduced Nurse Ratched to the world - 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' ? The reviews I read suggested they did not really honor the character as originally developed. "Cuckoo's Nest" is on my list of top-10 all-time movies, and Nurse Ratched has to be the best personification of evil ever portrayed in film ... so I'm not sure I want to sully the memory! But if you think her character is consistent, I'll give it a go!

"Oye Beltalowda!" Season 5 should drop later this year - Announcement at the virtual NYCC tomorrow:
A spiritual predecessor to The Expanse (& my best SciFi show prior to The Expanse) would be Babylon 5 from the 90's. Bit cheesy now but 5 seasons of impressive story arc. Aside from that, Lost in Space (Netflix) is worth a look and I need to catch up on that Challenger series as well.
