Just thought of something. The Swedish cop show Beck features a Norwegian character who is a Norwegian actor. He speaks Swedish but his way of speaking sounds a little like he could be in Norsemen. He was also in GOT - Tormund Giantsbane

Not that far. He speaks on a few youtube vids. Surprised you've not heard him. I checked some earlier and it's not as pronounced as when he was actually playing.

Oh, he's a fairly significant player in GOT! Not a primary guy, but he's in several series.

Here's the 'identical' GOT scene. I wonder if Norsemen were intentionally taking the piss? The GOT scene was from circa 2013 or earlier; pre-dating Norsemen!

We've finished Midsomer Murders, and MI-5 / Spooks (including the movie too). Nearly finished Life Of Mars as well.
I'm a few episodes into season two of Fringe. I remember certain things from when I watched it when it came out, but in a good way I don't remember it all.
I must re-visit norsemen. I think the leader chappy is the same actor who played the prime minister in Occupied (another great scando show)

I’ve just binged watched, over the last three or four days, Young Walander...set in Malmo in Sweden, and I thought pretty good. The last episode was a bit odd, and made me wonder if I might have had a nap and missed a bit, but apparently not. Anyway, not bad...quite good...

Did you catch up with Deadwind, season 2? Assuming you saw S1.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm currently enjoying Before We Die which I think was previously on C4 as the Walter Presents thing shows up.

In fact, it's still available to watch on C4- first shown 2018.

I's as good as the other Scandi/Nordic cop shows but no haunting theme music and no overhead shots of a car travelling on a road in the middle of nowhere.

I did watch Deadwind One, so thank you I will defo give Two a whirl. I tend to not watch much when it's possible to be outside...today I re-stained the back deck it's just I know that the next six months will be bloody horrid no matter which way I try to mentally spin it...so I save the more promising looking programmes for the more glacial weekends...

That is a common theme of those shows. Usually the lead detective has some dark side that they try to hide.

I heard the farmer's almanac this morning. Apparently we're in for a different winter to usual. This time it's going to be snowy, rainy and cold.

I believe what's on now is new dubbing. 'Real' new is due for next year.

I'm going to give this one another plug. Just done with season one. It's bloody exciting.

The lead female character...I was wracking my brains for who she reminded me of. It's not an instant likeness just something about the way she holds herself. Laure from Spiral. And I have to say the show has the same chaotic angle in terms of the police not all being fine upstanding citizens and they don't always win.

Roll on season two, tomorrow night.

Oh...the opening titles and music is so 1970s but everything else bang up to date.

Sorry, it's Swedish with English subs. As mentioned in the earlier post it's on C4/4OD so a VPN will help get it from the UK.

Just a mo...according to this you can https://www.amazon.com/Before-We-Die-Season-1/dp/B07WD775PY

Just a mo...according to this you can get it on Amazon (PBS) and it says English audio
You are far too technical for the likes of me... I have three buttons: ‘on’, ‘off’, ‘Netflix’ ...there are a thousand other channels- but they all seem to be involved with sport themes that I don’t follow...
