Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?

Re: Goggle box- anything worth watching on TV?
This is good stuff. On the first couple of episodes I thought "yeah, yeah", I got more into it after about the fifth episode, I've just finished the eighth episode, and woombah, there we go. I'm up for the duration.
Thanks muchly for that pointer.
One can have too much of the Skandi-stuff, this is a welcome break.

it’s a bit a slow start but all comes together very satisfyingly at the end of season 1. The pace steps up in season 2 and frankly it just gets better every subsequent season. S5 should be out later this years. Filmed in Toronto by the way.

I had been listening to The Expanse audiobooks, very enjoyable. I decided to take a chance on the show and it too is rather good. It does set up some things far earlier than in the books, but that makes sense. It is certainly a bit of a slow burn. I've only seen season 1, so will need to view the others.
Star Trek: Picard is worth a watch if you like SciFi. It's not the squeaky clean Star Trek of years gone by, and that's for the better.

My girlfriend gifted me a subscription to BritBox for my birthday. We've been watching Midsomer Murders, and a previous series of 8 out of 10 cats. I think I might subject her to The Sweeny, and Life on Mars
Went through "Man like Mobeen" the other day. Funny, but a lot darker than previous series.
Just started Ozark season 3,, so that will last a few days I suspect. We'll then move on to the new season of Money Heist.

Last weekend on CBC GEM i binge watched season 2 of "The Tunnel" was just as good as season 1. Its a police drama with all the action centering around the Channel Tunnel. Season 3 has just become available on GEM also.

I’m re-watching a bunch of Catherine Cookson tv-movies/series.
So far I’ve seen, The Dwelling, Fifteen Streets, Tide of Life, Colour Blind and a bunch of others I can’t even remember lol.
I’ve got a couple of episodes of Belgravia to catch up with as well

Just watched the 3-part Ch4 documentrary, "Putin: A Russian Spy Story". Absolutely outstanding television, thank you Channel 4. Yes, it is utterly terrifying.

Ozark season 3 finished. Still as good as ever.
Not sure what will be next, possibly Money Heist season 4. I am half tempted to buy the complete collection of Babylon 5 and binge through that.

I’m hoping Money Heist series 4 is better than 3. I enjoyed 1 & 2 but 3 not so much.

We're considering getting Britbox. Do you find lots to watch.? Any recommendations other than what you listed. I think Midsummer Murders is on Netflix. I know my wife was watching it a bit...I prefer series that are a continuing story rather than storylines wrapped up in one episode.

There are quite a few things on BritBox. Spooks (labeled as MI-5) is there, but only from series 1 through 5. Midsomer Murders did used to be on Canadian Netflix, but was removed, in, I believe, September last year
