Give me a break.
I just got pulled over for not stopping at a stop sign.
It's just one bloody thing after another.

Bummer
I was behind a police car a few weeks ago and saw them make a U turn, where there was a ' no U turn ' sign, they also failed to stop at a 4 way stop.
Case of do as I say, not as I do.
What was the outcome, hope your not too shook up.

Oh it's (another) fine and (some more) points on my license I expect.
If I wasn't feeling so shitty anyway it might not be such a big deal, but right now it's the last straw.

I saw a 'Stop' Sign when we drove to the airport from the UK, someone had written "Hammer Time" underneath, made me smile

But hey I can either go back to bed and pull the covers over my head, or go clear the dogshit from the backyard (symbolic eh?) and mow the lawn. I think the latter. I've taken a headache pill and several pints of fluid to replace what I lost from weeping. Enough of feeling sorry for myself, I'm going out to get sunburned.

And when the jobs are done, sit down with a belly achingly funny film, or alternatively a real weepy - just to get it all out of the system.
Come on........no more sad thoughts............you'll have me starting!!!!!!!!

Okay so what else are you supposed to do at a stop sign? Pick your nose?

I feel it would almost do me a favour if I lost my licence before I kill somebody, except that I need it for work in Home Care.
I was feeling a bit better til I read your reply. Thanks for that.

Re: Give me a break.
I'm sorry to hear you got pulled over Morwenna. I've been done twice in the past 4 years for speeding. I've got to go to a speeding class in a couple of weeks time. It's made me much more careful driving now. We have so many speed cameras over here, I don't take any chances and make sure I'm below 30mph. This time I was spotted by a cop holding a camera and I didn't even see him! I was doing 39mph in a 30mph zone
