I too popped the heating on last night, I was sitting on the couch, in my woolly PJ's and slippers, under a jumper and still cold, I surrendered, also the lightweight duvet went back into the cover this week too, I am a little distressed.

I remember when we lived there...I'd hold off turning the furnace on for as long as possible in September...like dammit, I don't care if it's 16C in here, I'm not giving in to winter yet!

It is not that often we can crow about the sunshine in Vancouver but the forecast for the next week is low to mid 20s by the beaches and up to 30 in the eastern suburbs. Not a cloud in the sky for all that time.

Yes, I know that in about six weeks it will start raining for Noah but you have to make the most of it while you can.

It's not often that from Vancouver to Winnipeg it's going to be virtually the same for the next week.

That's if Environment Canada is to be believed. ;)

A great time to take a vacation, kids are back in school and most of the tourists have gone home.

Hmm, a tad bit sunburnt and sun stroked from watching the drag racing at Drayton Valley yesterday, I shall be sitting in the shade nursing my headache and drinking lots of fluids today - no I refuse to stay indoors even though that would be the sensible thing to do lol.
