Snowed like a bastard up in the higher elevation part of Kamloops where I live. Drove down the hill and nothing.
Note to self - live in the valley, not on top of a hill.

Just a little..... I hate fog when driving, heck even when just working at the airport fog was a pain. Might be one of the worst weather conditions to have to drive in. I can deal with snow and ice as long as I can easily see, add in fog, and I give up.
I do my best to avoid driving any mountain passes in winter, I will change the Coq if the weather between it and Vancouver has been clear and sunny for at least 24 hours and no storms in the forecast, the 2 times I had to go to Kelowna before moving here in winter, I did it that way, and worked, but any storms or precip in the forecast, nope not even gonna try it.

4 hrs later the fog is probably still impenetrable as soon as you're heading down the mountain. Hitting a wild goat is a real hazard.

It snowed in Norfolk this morning, enough to leave everything looking pretty and white.
Be gone by the afternoon though.

We had just over a foot of the white stuff fall down from the sky over the past couple of days and -5c temperatures, although today the snow is thawing as the temperatures rise to +4c - I just dug up the last 30 odd beetroot, carrots come out this weekend.

Rained a bit yesterday evening, then went below 0 overnight so a little icy this morning, but now sunny and looking good. No snow expected for the next 7 days at least.

I travelled across the coquihalla yesterday afternoon, roads were bare.

Looks like a snowy week.
