Finaly made it

We completed on the house without any hiccups and flew out on Friday to Ottawa to start all over again. The leaving party was brilliant, everybody was in a great mood and the atmosphere was perfect all night, we couldn't have asked for more.

Saying goodbye to my sister and nephews was the toughest, I've never been more than a 15 minute drive away from them their entire lives. I've been feeling guilty about my decision hurting them ever since, but they seem to be okay now.

Arrived in Ottawa and straight away went out for a bite to eat with the inlaws which was nice, before settling down in the local bar and polishing off 8 pitchers of Keiths...my poor head took some recovering.

We've now done most of the mundane things, opened up our bank accounts (I recommend CIBC they were very nice and helpfull - but I'm still wanting to set up a credit card that doesn't require thousands to be held in security!).

Last night was spent at the hockey, my Father Inlaw won suite tickets so we got to watch in comfort rather than up in the nose bleed section.

We're also going out for a ride on the motorbikes today before I surrender my license next week, so that should be nice!

To all those still going through the process good luck and all the best, it's worth it in the long run...I still can't stop smiling.

:D
