Well done. Only half way down page 1 and the misogyny starts.

I think you will find it started in post #1 on the thread in the Locker Room.
Misogyny or wishful thinking you decide?

Sexism, objectification and highly distasteful but it doesn't really strike me as misogyny.

btw, the Sweden - Nigeria game on now is an absolute cracker. Definitely something to brighten up a dull afternoon, that said I highly suspect that my office will soon be invaded for the next game. I think I'll have to get some beers in and put some plastic down on my posh new sofa.

Well that's actually right, I'll settle for objectification. And a beer.

Turned it off at half time as that trumpet player was getting right on my ****ing nerves. Only knew one tune sort of like Arsenal fans with only one chant.
I wonder if Hope Solo will end up twatting a kangaroo.

At around 40 minutes in the USA game a tackle was made by Sydney Leroux from the USA and it was called a foul. During the slow motion replay Im pretty sure she was wearing a thong or was it a tramp stamp?

No idea it was happening or in Canada. Nobody around here talking about it from what I can tell.

It would seem to be the opposite of misogyny surely?

Aussies were unlucky yesterday, their skipper is a good player. They had the best of the first half and deserved to be 3-0 up at half time. USA were the better side second half, Aussies will show through to the last 4 imo.

Shortly leaving for a viewing appointment with a potential tenant who obviously picked a time that prevented me watching on TV. Good job I didn't fork out for a ticket.
