Re: Fellow humans...
I have no idea why the gammons get so upset by this kind of stuff. It doesn't actually affect them in the slightest, it's just that they can't accept that they're not always in control of popular opinion. Possibly it makes them realise that they're getting old and irrelevant.

Nobody listens to the cabin crew anyway, not until they come around with the cookies and coffee. The change is geared toward making passengers and crew comfortable, and if it does then I have no objection.

Re: Fellow humans...
My immediate reaction was "Oh no- the snowflakes are upset again" before remembering that I'm apparently the snowflake. Then when Prize Moron piled on I knew I was on the right side!!!
This is a very good answer. I simply can't understand why the switch from the archaic "ladies and gentlemen" to "Everyone" would even be noticeable otherwise, just a common sense update. But, snowflakes....

Here's the Wikipedia definition:
Snowflake is a 2010s derogatory slang term for a person, implying that they have an inflated sense of uniqueness, an unwarranted sense of entitlement, or are overly-emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions. Common usages include the terms special snowflake, Generation Snowflake, and snowflake as a politicized insult.
Ladies & Gentleman isn't archaic it's normal form of address. Just crazy to feel offended by such usage...unless one is in fact a snowflake.
