Expats behaviour aboard?

What is up with Ex Pats??? Seriously, Most of them I meet are complete tools. They try and flaunt their britishness, No one cares, no one cares that your from England. Its not a big deal, its not like your the first english person to land in Canada, that was done by George Vancouver and the others back in the day. It's already done, so calm down, go back to your shack.

I met an english guy holding a pint outside a bar saying how rubbish and awful england is, while he was wearing the latest ENGLAND SHIRT!! Obviously bitter that he was stuck in a small town in the middle of nowhere with nothing going on, earning hardly any money.

When canadians ask me questions about england or ridiculus questions, I wonder why they don't just get up google, I already done plenty of research about Canada, I already know about all the festivals and culture here, for example Alberta is known for Cowboys, Racists and Skiing.

People ask me what england is like, I say its fantastic, but if they go there, a Chav might mistake them for a Yank and they might end up getting their head kicked in to Justin Biebers latest song.

So my rant is, look Expats no one cares about the whole patriotic act, if you love england just move there. Secondly Canadians USE GOOGLE!

Thanks and good night

Just a slight correction here. Alberta is known for Racist Cowboys, and Skiing Lesbians.

I think you mistyped that - it's lesbian cowboys and racist skiing.

Re: Expats behaviour aboard?

Are you sure there's two types?

I thought there's only racist lesbian cowboys that ski

Behaviour aboard what? Boats?

Re: Expats behaviour aboard?

Are we allowed to talk about cowboys and cowgirls in these PC times? Are the not all gender neutral "bovine handling technicians" or some such BS?

I'd respond to the initial post, but really its just trolling after a few too many wobbly pops (I hope)

Everyone knows that cowboys that ski would never be caught dead on a boat

Re: Expats behaviour aboard?

How many racist cowboys does it take to change a light bulb?

Spoiler:
None, they just sit there and complain about the dark.

At first I wasn't even going to look at this thread because of the obvious typo in the subject, but I'm so glad I went back to see! If I'd had any idea it would mature into cowboys aboard racist lesbians at a ski lodge I wouldn't have hesitated.

Re: Expats behaviour aboard?

lol, at first I was really hoping someone would take the bait and tackle the obvious nonsense in the original post because that would have made for excellent reading material with my mid-morning cup of tea. However, hats off to you all for taking the high road and I like that it's become a slightly off-colour game of chinese whispers involving lesbian skiing cows (or something) instead ;)

Well, there's no use responding to generalizations like that; you can only pile it so deep...

I agree, the Brits display disgusting behaviour when visiting other countries.

Good example here :)

Lance Armstrong was only stripped of a few titles - Prince Harry, on the other hand...

The USADA has no jurisdiction to strip him off his titles, the UCI has to do that...
at least, according to the man himself... "USADA cannot assert control of a professional international sport and attempt to strip my seven Tour de France titles,"

Oh, its not just you, the media are all saying the same thing. Time will tell I guess.

This bit from the guardian attempts to shed some light...http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012...-armstrong-uci

Re: Expats behaviour aboard?

But Lance isn't an expat is he? So even if he's aboard the ski bus from Calgary with racist lesbian cowgirls it's off-topic.

Hawk13 Aug 24th 2012 4:21 am

Re: Expats behaviour aboard?

But what if he's on the bus smoking up with Ross Rebagliati?

caretaker Aug 24th 2012 4:28 am

Re: Expats behaviour aboard?

Then he'd be on the bus to Rossland. Oh brother..... off to the pub!

I think the official term is Minotaur, they find cowperson quite derogatory.
