Default Ex-Employer website etiquette query

So, whats the deal here folks. You are no longer employed by a company but they are still showing that you are on their website - do you ask them to remove it or can they do what they like?

Once you have a reference from them and a new job, then yes.

Ask them to remove it immediately or the next communication will be from a lawyer.

It's probably laziness rather than malice.

It's possible (been there, done that ) that they simply overlooked updating that page. I'd send them a polite-but-stern request to remove that particular content, and if no action within a week or so, a more forceful take-down demand.
