I've got 19 EU (excluding the UK) plus CH and Liechtenstein (and Turkey, if I'm allowed). I'm a bit light on the Baltics/Scan and the Balkans.

Can I claim Soviet-era Ukraine and Moldova, and Czechoslovakia?

I'll chuck in another 19 if we're getting competitive.

Haha - I actually did a rail trip in 2012 before I immigrated to Canada. I visited 13 countries in 6 weeks. Myself and a friend drove from the UK, down the West Coast of France, over the Pyrenees to Barcelona. I then took a ferry to Livorno in Italy and traveled on my Interrail card all the way to Stockholm. If I recall I visited Florence, Venice, Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, Budapest, Vienna, Dresden, Berlin, Krakow, Copenhagen and Stockholm. Was an amazing trip.

If you're ending in Nice, the journey from Turin-Cuneo-Breil-Sur-Roya-Nice is beautiful and would be as scenic as along the Italian Riviera.

Not many really, never done the Med or Baltics particularly. I supposed I've probably driven through Luxembourg but that doesn't really count does it?

Asia: HK, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia

Australasia: Oz, NZ

Americas: Argentina, Brazil, 'merica and, unsurprisingly Canada.

France (circumnavigated a couple of times); Monaco; Belgium; Portugal; Spain; Fuertenventura (the Canary Islands are part of the EU) .. embarrassed to say that's it. If it was what countries (worldwide) have you visited it would be a different story...

I want to visit Scandinavian countries, Iceland and see more of Italy. Also, Croatia etc. So much to see, so little time...
