It is so beautiful here in the spring...here is a few shots I have taken while here.....is't so green, sniffle, so much character, sniffle, and it was snowing in Calgary the day before I left.!

It sure was pretty when I was there recently. But Im glad to be home, and things are greening up here too at last.

Could do with a bit of green. It was always my favourite time of the year back in the UK.

Although I have to admit there has been some green coming through over the last couple of days :) .

A visit back home is not complete without one to a burial ground and a pub :rofl: Where were you exactly mate? It does look good and the food just brings back memories of what you miss from pub grub :thumbsup:

I see you are still holding the cutleries right, unlike most Canadians :rofl: I'll be going back soon too for the princess Diana concert and to see friends and family

The pics are in Oxfordshire....Witney and Abingdon...my sister lives on a canal boat!

Yes, I do not shake everything off the table like some do while trying to use the side of the fork as a knife....:p

No :unsure: I have been quite sick, lost 50 lbs in 3 months and lost all my muscle tone :mad:

Very definitely not a Cornish pasty as I remember them, looks more like a Steak and Kidney pie. ;):)

i admit i was wrong! just enlarged the original photo and it definately looks like a steak and kidney pie and not a cornish pasty. you shouldnt have shown me the photo of the cornish pasty tho as now i am longing for a wee bite. That was just plain cruel Steve!:sneaky: :)

It was called a Steak and Ale pie. Not that the gravy was ale...just the name of the dinner and it was superb I might add. Pub grub at it's best for £6

Zalaben I am truly sorry, it certainly was not my intent to make things worse. :(
