Embarrassing Tunes?

Do you have a favourite music artist that people roll their eyes at you or look at you as though you are mad?

As I type this I am listening to Showaddywaddy and having a little bop as I go about my chores. My daughter has been inflicted - it was her that put it on today - bless her there's no hope:eek:

I still get my old Osmond albums out occasionally. Don't tell anyone, but I have 13 of them including a 'Donny and Marie' album.

My best friend at age about 12 had an uncle in the biz who had something to do with concert they were doing in Manchester. He offered to get tickets for my friend and me and to take us backstage to meet the boys.

My Mum thought that the uncle was an unreliable sort - being in show business and all that - and wouldn't let me go. I almost ran away from home due to her attempts to 'ruin my life'.
