I had most of my Christmas jar left and half a packet of the pastry shells.

MIL and SD were making various pies yesterday and I remembered I had the mince stuff left.

made some! Thanks for the inspiration. Only made 8 as struggling to buy flour. There may be one left. But I doubt it.

Horseradish, check (it's just the PC horseradish seafood sauce [the red shit]) oozy, check (toaster oven), and I even used unsalted butter just for you.
Edit: I put seafood sauce on my shopping list, then crossed it off. It's an easy hack and I have the stuff (ketchup, horseradish, and lime/lemon juice). The jar I had (nearly gone) may have come from the bar after an event.

I've always made my own seafood / avocado sauce/dressing too - but with mayo, a little tomato ketchup, lime juice, a dash of lee & perrins, freshly ground black pepper - and sometimes either freshly grated horseradish or peri peri sauce. I served it to a couple of Canadian friends and they raved about it and asked me where I bought it; when I told them it was home made they wanted the recipe lol

Tea and schnapps (Goldschlager); I don't want to spoil my appetite.
