Toronto police have finished searching the Eaton Centre and are now combing through surveillance tape of a shooting that killed a 25-year-old man and left several others injured Saturday evening.

Among those hurt is a 13-year-old boy who got sent to hospital in critical condition, a 20-year-old man also with life-threatening injuries and a pregnant woman who was knocked down in the chaos and went into labour, according to Toronto Police Constable Victor Kwong.

The link doesn't quite work for me, I only see a balding man with dreadful facial hair. He's wearing a blue shirt, is it him who's dead?

The Police know who the dead guy is and who the shooter is.

But they don't want to spoil his Sunday and arrest him today, either that or maybe they don't know where he lives. :frown:

It's gang related apparently.

Now theirs a surprise.....Perhaps a little 'pro-active' policing required for these chaps....

Ways & Means act of the year whenever perchance?.....then I woke up....

The shooter has been identified as a "Mr Husbands" 23 yr old who was on probation or under house arrest, and managed to break that to carry out the shooter.

As mentioned in the Magnotta thread, perhaps this nutter should be strung up as well in the middle of Eaton center with a bonfire up his arse?

I saw it on the BBC. The report said the incident 'put a black mark on Canada's reputation as a safe haven.'

Re: Eaton Center Shooting

Canada a "safe haven"?

How many murders have there been in Saskatchewan and BC this year, and we haven't even got to other provinces yet

Just like myth about being tolerant, and then you get morons like the ones in Prince Edward county last year that painted their face for a halloween dress competition

Yea, lets set up a Committee, then we can set up another committee to do a feasibility study, to be followed by a 'Think tank' to investigate why the original committee was set up in the first place. It's the Canadian way.....which is why little of any import actually gets done!

Don't forget to give the lad house arrest while we do this, and then count it as double time served

Did you hear anything about the sad story surrounding this case? You really are a sad ignorant **** and if you have ever been allowed to carry a gun I despair.
