The above is not a good value in my mind but maybe it is there?

I can get 2 pizzas and breadsticks in Vancouver near me for 22 to 25.

39 gets 2 pizzas, bread sticks, wings and 2 liter soda.

Thanks. After almost 30 years spent in the 'jolly expensive wilderness' I'm trying to regain some kind of perspective as to relative living costs in Northern and Western hemispheres.

That website didn't do Canada for me so they missed my home town, Crystal Springs. In the 1950's and 60's when it had a population of just over 100 people, the RCMP in Wakaw called it Little Chicago.
Known for its deep dish pizza and gangsters, I assume.

Home brew and juvenile delinquents, actually. When John Diefenbaker was a young lawyer in Wakaw he successfully defended a major local distiller, and was tremendously popular.

Where is the jolly expensive wilderness? I don't order delivery pizza, but I think it's about £25 for two mediums.

Jolly expensive wilderness would be Switzerland. Order in - home delivery were sub-quality, much better to 'phone downtown to a reputable resto and pitch up 20 mins later to collect.

25 of your Earth Pounds for two decent medium sized pizzas would equate to CHF 36 and a bit, but that would be a Domino kind of thing, so for a reasonable 2 medium pizzas I'd be looking at CHF50+ so GBP 38 and a bit.

Hence jolly expensive wilderness.

And I had to go downtown to collect them.
