HID is always threading to do this but we've never quite get round to it. I'd imagine both of those to be okay. The same company as Cin Cin has West which is up the street from me and the Bluewater Cafe which we go to quite a bit. |

Its interesting the restaurants that are not on the Dine Out list.
How quaint. Google winterlicious and eat (haha) your hearts out. |
Re: Dine Out Vancouver
This place might not be fancy enough for you but it's absolutely delicious food. It's only a couple of blocks from my friend's house so we get takeout from there every time I'm in town. There's a good youtube video about the place too but damned if I'm going to copy out all that url.

We grabbed a last minute Italian yesterday at Novo on Burrard and 5th. Cheap, cheerful, and actually pretty nice. Food was home made and very fresh. Good service too. |

The new Green Lettuce is in Surrey, the original is on Kingsway half a block off Victoria in Burnaby.

Re: Dine Out Vancouver
I did West last year (25 metres from home!) -it was amazing!
I went to the Keg on Friday and have a reservation for the Boathouse on the 31st. :) |

My kids used to love White Spot, same there, value gone way down. Now, kept waiting for tables even when there are plenty free, waiting to be served and leave hungry as the portions seem much smaller now. Dropped into another on the way home from work a few years back, Night and Day I believe, they were offering lamb, it was more like mutton. The sheep must have died of old age it was so tough. Still enjoy the Beach House at Dundarave and the Observatory on Grouse. |

Thanks but i live downtown and i try to avoid Slurrey unless it's a mega special reason.
I've not been in one for years (probably since 2005). I might have to pop across the water to the one in Yaletown. We grabbed a last minute Italian yesterday at Novo on Burrard and 5th. Cheap, cheerful, and actually pretty nice. Food was home made and very fresh. Good service too. We've been in there before going to watch a film. I wouldn't write home about it. If you like poncy plated food you might want to try the Hawksworth. |
