Dartford International
My sister lives about 20 minutes drive from Ashford International - so it's easy to go and hop on a train to Paris. However, I just read on the BBC site and the Times that when they open the new Ebbsfleet International or Dartford International - they are changing the terminus from Waterloo International - and closing that completely and making St. Pancras the terminus.
Seems to me that as the coast is south - a mainline station in south London makes more sense. And as the bloody trains will still have to enter the tunnel in the usual place - what is the point of rerouting all the trains, presumably across north Kent and leaving the people in south Kent having to travel to London. Presumably if you live in Ashford - you will still have to go to St. Pancras to catch the train because a good many of the trains from Ashford are being cancelled.

Oh well, I guess they have a bottomless pit of the taxpayers money to pay for all this building up and pulling down again.
