After 35 years it might seem new
I wonder what the equivalent of a Crackerjack (CRACKERJACK!) pencil will be.

I love the old tale about one of the games involving a tractor (or some sort of vehicle) and someone in the German team sabotaged the GB vehicle overnight. The GB team discovered it and simply switched the D and GB cards over so the Germans got the sabotaged vehicle.
It's a great tale even if it's not quite true.

Gosh...if you know your English audience you can say aloud ‘it’s Friday night... and it’s 5 o’clock’ And everyone will respond ‘and it’s Crackerjack’ a heartwarming pursuit I suppose...I never personally liked it, or Magpie...I was much more a Blue Peter sort of woman

Oh Danny...I’m not quite sure what this says about me as a person...but I listened to that from start to finish... 1983 was evidently not a good year musically for poor man singing...it puts life in perspective...it all seems so much better now
