I do find it interesting how long its taking Canada to arrange flights out for Canadian citizens, must be frustrating for Canadian's in Wuhan seeing other countries evacuating citizens more quickly. US did 1 flight last week, 2 flights arrived from Wuhan early this morning, with 2 more planned Thursday.
Australia has done 2 flights so far for its citizens.
Virus might be more contagious than current data shows, virus also appears to have mutated so it can more easily spread among humans.
This virus has caused the CDC in the US to do things it hasn't done in 50 years, which is a little more concerning, do the scientists know something they haven't shared yet?

I do wonder why, when we stuff the governmental bottomless tax coffers with our hard earned that the defence juggernaut uses to buy their expensive toys, that they apparently need to charter aircraft to transport wayward canadians, and others, who need help to leave China.
How do we transport troops when we send them to bugger up other people's countries?
Do we charter aircraft for that?
It's clear to me that we obviously don't pay enough taxes, it's clear that we need to pay much much more, and we can use it to fund an airline just in case. We could call it Air Canada, has a nice ring to it, don't you think.
It's a mystry.

Does surprise me a bit how long its taken Canada to arrange just 1 flight and needs to rely on the US still to bring Canadian's home. Also surprising Canada isn't using a Canadian airline to do so.
The Canadian flight is in the air finally, due to arrive in Vancouver around 8:50pm, aircraft is Hi Fly A330 9H-STY and will continue onto Trenton.
Last I saw there should be a US flight at some point also arriving in Vancouver a few hours later to drop off Canadian's before going onto the US and those Canadian's will be put on a government aircraft and flown to Trenton.

another day, another useless webinar.
monotony was broken up by the person whose camera feed kept showing up at random, the person whose camera only showed the top right quarter of their face and the woman with scary scary lips.

Visited the docs today and for the first time ever was asked whether I'd had a flu jab.
Now the cynic in me thought 'he's adding to the business profit' but the pragmatic side of me thought 'wonder if the word has gone out to do most to resist coronavirus'.
It's a mystry.
