The 75% and 20% number going around, is that 75% and 20% of total population or eligible population?

The entire population isn't eligible, namely those under 12.

Anyhow of the eligible population we have reached 75% and 20%.

75.410%

of Canadians 12+ have received at least one dose

20.287%

of Canadians 12+ are fully vaccinated

In NB it's been eligible.

My experience with dose 2 at a government vaccination centre.

It was basically a very efficient vaccine assembly line.

At the entrance a police officer and appointment verification person, show appointment text asked some questions the one do you have COVID, have you been exposed to a positive case, traveled outside Canada in the last 14 days.

Then off to stop 2, mask replacement and hand sanitizer.

Step 3 registration and PHN and personal info verification.

Step 4 get shot
Step 5 lounge for 15 minutes.

And done.

With the 15 minute wait after, was in and out in 30 ish minutes.

The people injecting people only have verify arm, read a quick disclosure of which vaccine your getting, pick up a prefilled syringe and into arm.

Very well managed and efficient.

That's been our experience, except for the policeman. No police at the places we went to. that must be something to do with Kelowna

We've also found that they don't worry too much about the appointment time .............. if you're in the line, they'll take you.

OH has had both his jabs, once at River Rock Casino, the other at the Convention Centre downtown, while I've only had my first, at River Rock. Every time, we've arrived early (due to allowing for traffic delays does that!), and we've just sailed right in.

Been out either before or just a few minutes after the "official" appointment time.

All the people vaccinating us have been nurses, and really good.

They were not checking times at all, just that you had an appointment, I can't say if you showed up 7 hours early if they would let you in, but 50 minutes early nobody cared.

Yes, I wondered about that but here the advice throughout has been keep the appointment, and if you arrive too early, wait in the car.

The correct booking time might reveal itself at Registration although with the priority on getting people done I can't imagine them saying you're an hour early, go to the back of the line

This appears to be the route they are following .......... "get this one done although s/he is early. It won't make much difference, but we'll get the vaccine in an arm .

Probably helped that there was no line to speak of really. On a busy day they might care more.

My first jab, although there was tape directing people back and forth, I only had two people ahead of me for registration and then a jabber was available immediately.
Second jab the space used was massively expanded (12 registration points instead of 2 - more of everything really) and I had a quarter of a mile line of people shuffling 6 feet, stopping, shuffling 6 or even 12 feet and so on. It still didn't take that long.

From the time shown on my sheet I think I was in and out the building in 35 minutes. It just seemed longer with all that shuffling along in the humid arena.

The old Ice Hockey venue. I worked out how far I shuffled by googling the rink length and multiplying.

I have my 2nd jab booked for July 12th at the River Rock Casino

I was more interested in getting an appointment there than in the soonest ........ it is so convenient for us, has lots of parking, and lots of space inside.

There was a very small line when we had our first jabs done there, about 6 people outside the door, health status check and new mask was right inside the door.

But by the time we left, there was a long line outside the building.

I'm just hoping that it will be similar in July.

Yesterday we drove through Toronto’s main shopping area, then onto Yorkville. People and cars everywhere. The Harbourfront is busier than it’s been in years. Good to see the city coming back to life.

They are planning to vax 25K people today at the Scotiabank Arena, Toronto. This will break the North American record for number of people vaccinated in 1 day. Just walked by and the number of people is unbelievable. Music playing, people dancing. Although the lines are extremely long, everyone is moving along very quickly. Seems to be very well organized. Well done T.O.

Even if they don’t achieve 25K, a hell of a lot of people will have been vaccinated today. So that’s gotta be good.

26,771 people vaccinated today in Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.

76% of people in Ontario have received 1 dose. 35% have had 2 doses.
