Very low case counts but as we have seen these are very small towns in cottage/lake country so the potential for counts to rise due to travellers from other regions I guess is a deciding factor for these types of areas to be included in the Province wide lockdown.

It'll be interesting to see how the extended lockdown impacts the upcoming long weekend. I think someone asked Ford at his announcement yesterday how they were going to deal with that, and I believe not a single response was forthcoming. I suspect it's because he knows, and we know that people, including quite a few who have been following the rules all along, hit the button marked "**** it" and go out and have some fun. Somewhat unwise, but people had booked the odd trip here an there, for example a camping trip, and the goalposts get moved again. |

Plus now you have the nutty anti-maskers who are now *wearing* masks because they're worried about virus shedding from the vaccinated.

Re: Coronavirus
Sounds like the Indian variant may throw a spanner in the works for the UK reopening in June. I hate these poxy variants. I hope it doesn't make its way over here.

Re: Coronavirus
Is this a different variant than the Indian variant that arrived already?
Maybe I missed the strain number in the article, but I didn't see it so not sure if its the same, or if there are more than one variant connected to India.
