Re: Coronavirus
Now if we could just get a nice consistent supply to Canada we might be able to catch up a bit.
Appears Astra Zeneca vaccine doesn't work so well against the South African variant, and that exposure to other variants confers no protection against mild or moderate infections by B.1.351.

Re: Coronavirus
It sure would. I am extremely disillusioned by this government...I am with most really, but particularly right now.
I'm thinking sometime during the summer now for us...hubby reckons Sept/October.

Re: Coronavirus
I have no idea where I am in line for vaccination, but not going to worry about it. The tweaking of vaccines to counter new strains is sort of a race; development and testing time vs rate of spread, so getting a newer mark in the fall could be beneficial.

Re: Coronavirus
Why some want a total travel banA 29-year-old man has been charged after allegedly providing a false COVID-19 test result to inspectors at Toronto's Pearson International Airport.
Peel Regional Police say the incident took place on Monday, Feb. 8. at a Canada Border Services Agency inspection point, where a CBSA officer and public quarantine officer were conducting checks.
"When a man's negative COVID-19 document was revealed to be fraudulent, it was, in fact, a positive test result," police said in a news release Wednesday.

Now you know better than saying that.

Re: Coronavirus
Covid numbers in Ontario have steadily been falling since lockdown was implemented on Boxing Day. Yesterday’s figures are now just under 1K...but the numbers are under reported in Toronto.
