Prophylaxis - preventative treatment.

Well lets see, if anybody is refused treatment or charged for it I can absolutely guarantee it will be big news.

Boiler, if I read your posts correctly, you're suggesting that emigrant Britons living in other countries could return to the UK just to obtain a vaccine on the NHS?? I really hope that's not what you're saying, but that's how it reads.

Nobody is saying a non-resident wouldn't free treatment for Covid, of course they would if it came under the rules i.e. was emergency treatment.

That's not vaccinations though. If people who aren't resident were queue jumping and taking the place of people who do live in the UK and using the NHS when not entitled to, then that's what would be big news IMO! There would be a lot of very pissed off people in the UK if expats were swooping in to get a vaccine at the expense of others.

Why would emigrant Brits want the hassle and expense of going to the UK for a vaccination? We have registered for ours here and will wait our turn. No hassle, no cost.

We received a notice not to try to book a vax through our GP, but to wait until we are invited by the DOH.

It's looking like mid-April.

I was responding to this, now personally would not want to travel by air domestically never mind internationally. If I happened to be in the UK anyway obviously different.

UK worst death rate in the world according to figures today. Can't fault Piers Morgan for attempting to hold government to account on GMB this morning, but minister Brandon Lewis absolutely refuses to discuss it.

Gordon Brown on current situation:

- too late a lockdown
- too little a lockdown
- too lax a lockdown

UK has been too confident about the vax program.

Priti Patel has criticised Boris Johnson's failure to close borders last year, saying that she advocated tougher measures but was over-ruled. Priti Patel!!

Keir Starmer asked Johnson at PMQs why he over-ruled his Home Secretary's advice, and Johnson, in typical Johnson fashion, ignored the question and accused Starmer of playing politics.

Yeah, kind of surprise positive from PP !!

It's shameful how BJ ignores legitimate questions in the HoC.
