Homestars is good. Even gives you the prices people paid for the work.

I found reviews on Trusted Pros for my handyman (who is more than a handyman) and they were highly accurate.

I have also used Homestars with reasonable success

PS Thanks BristolUK - I will try TrustedPros too in future, I thought Homestars was the main one

I get emails from them, often encouraging me to write reviews.

Perhaps I should be looking for some 'incentives'
