Have you tried Sunshine Markets? They've got a UK section there with Bisto and custard powder etc. They may have some. Do you know where it is? If not let me know and I'll give you directions. Col |

Yep definitely in Superstore, just seen it but only the low fat version like other posts have said. Tastes just the same, i think you must have had a bad batch.
They also had Tapioca if you like that kind of thing  , now that wasn't low fat. |

Re: cold turkey for rice pudding!
There are a couple of general stores which may carry it, Real Canadian Superstore & possibly Safeway?
I do remember my wife taking me to Sunshine Market when I first arrived back in 2002, my wee Scottish face lit up when I saw how much British products they had on their shelves. My wife found me on one aisle speaking to a British woman about British foods. It's probably the longest chat i've ever had in any store, ever!! *chuckles* I think I found Bisto Granules, Tunnock's teacakes & many other 'Brit things' It really depends from one month to the next, but you can usually find a few handy, well missed items. |

... Also, if you desperately want to get your hands on a British food product, this is one site which may be able to help!

Our local supermarkets have just started stocking 'Penguin biscuits'
McVitites seem to be pretty popular here....you can get lots of those yummies that you are familiar with, if you so desire !!!!! ;) |
