I do enjoy a cup of coffee each morning but pass around 20 coffee shops (6 of them Starbucks) on my mile stroll to the office. The economics of coffee in my household/ bachelor pad/ man cave is not justified.

All my tea is from India. :p

Mine is Tetley packaged in England, it says made of the finest orange pekoe tea leaves "from around the world".

According to an exhaustive tea thread from years ago the round Tetley tea bags we buy here in Canada are exactly the same as are available in England; only the designation 'orange pekoe' is different. I've never been to England so will accept everyone else's word for it.
I'm actually just finishing a pot off now (Scotch on the side). :-)

I don't like flavoured teas.

Actually I find that tea and Scotch tend to compliment each other, gently. ;)

Only tea I can drink is green tea, nearly no flavor, doesn't need sugar, but adds just enough flavor to make water attractive.

Our coffee maker has a thermal type coffee holder thinger instead of glass. Coffee stay's at a decent drinking temp from 4-6 hours, but even after 8 is still warm but not very good.

Don't drink too much black tea, but granted this man did drink nearly 4 liters of iced tea per day, black tea has some chemical in it when consumed in excessive amounts can cause kidney failure.

Doctors blame man's kidney failure on his drinking a gallon of iced tea every day | CTV News

This thread is an embarrassment to our roots.

If you can guarantee me an endless supply of PG Tips at a reasonable price in Canada then I would never switch to coffee. I started drinking coffee cuz desperate times call for desperate measures.

I was at Superstore today and in the entrance they were flogging some coffee makers just like the one I already have - 12 cup (although not really 12 unless they're small cups) pause and pour feature - $16 down to half price.

I bought one so now I know I won't need to clean the other one. ;)

I'm exaggerating but there will likely come a time when certain parts don't want to clean or are awkward to reach. The $8 will save me struggling.

Yes, as long as it's kitchen whiskey (not the good stuff).

I started dosing tea with Scotch years ago brewing up on the bank while carp fishing on cold nights so not an aficionado. We sell 5 or 6 single malts at the bar but I've never even been tempted to try them.

I'm not a coffee drinker, its the wife that likes coffee & its Melitta traditional medium blend, which she has been using since the late 60's. A Ikg tin will last about 12 months

As for tea, its Tetley, what else.

My wife has now decided to drink Ikea's coffee.
