I am sure there is a better explanation on Google than mine.

not great for me. Sunday is my Monday but I suppose I get an extra hour when the clocks go back

I just got a new smartphone and had to set the time manually. We don't do daylight savings time, but it didn't pick up on that.

Our cooker is easy. It's the microwave clock that's the problem. I set the time but I never remember what 'keeps' it. If that button doesn't succeed, I do the other and that does.

I don't try to change the oven clock, there is no obvious clock button and its a combination of pressing this button and that button and eh not worth it.

Why can they simply not put a clock button on these things to make it simple? No clue how to change the microwave.

Most microwaves are easy; press clock, set the time, and press clock again - done.

Maybe 2nd time will be what it takes, the previous bill in the last congress never made it out of committee, but now that California seems keen on sticking with daylight savings time as well as Washington state, maybe there will be some movement this time around, current BC government seems keen on the idea provided the west coast states do it as well.
