Just came out today... An interesting option for those who travel alot, as well as for purchases in Canada. I tried to get one online but it timed out on me, will try again tomorrow. My question is does it work with apple pay on my phone or not, because if it does then I am sold.

They are waiving the sign up fee / "customisation" fee until 31/03/2017 so there is no cost other than the amount you choose to load the card with. I'll likely go with a CAD one and a EUR one to start and maybe nab a USD one before our trip in Dec.

After looking it over no hidden fees, can use it at any ATM to take out cash, as well as one free int'l ATM withdrawal per month, so I can transfer EUR onto the card, then take the cash out from a European ATM and use it for purchases or deposit it into my Maltese acct.

I got a CAD, USD and EUR one today, they are all chip enabled cards and tap/visa pay wave available.

I have a re loadable Visa (CAD funds only, but dont need foreign fund card) and while there was an initial fee for it, there hasn't been any other fees as they waive the monthly fee for members currently, ATM fee is 1.00 inside Canada and 2.00 outside, and 2.5% foreign transaction fee, but all those fees are avoidable.

I just use the card to buy online, so its fee free for me..
