Still the 30th? Hmm. I shall have a think. I really should get out to one of these things, given the amount of time I've been on the forum. What time's it start, given I usually finish work at 4.

I know, most info is somewhere in the thread, but right now I am feeling incredibly lazy, and it has been one of "those" days.

It seems the folk who work downtown (e.g. Schnooks) and the low life bar flies (e.g. James) will be in around 5-5:30 pm.

We'll be fashionably late at 6-6:30.

See you there?

The majority of people show up from 6pm onwards... some of us that finish earlier sometimes meet up earlier than that. (I'll get a 4:30 train into Toronto which gets me in around 5:15, so I'm meeting JamesM at the pub around 5:30 for an early start to things as he also finishes work a bit earlier!)

Most people show up between 6 and 7, with a few others coming in after that.

So whenever you can make it down would be fun!

LOL. Accurate description!

I actually work in Mississauga, but I finish at a reasonable time. Mr Schnooks usually leaves work around 6 and gets there not long after that.

I stand corrected, I mixed you up with your OH.

On edit: If you see what I mean....

I do look quite manly. And Mr Schnooks is very dainty. The mixup is easily done.

Not sure offhand but Green P is usually cheapest and they have lots all over, check their website for the lot locator, I've issued it before. Should be maybe $8 ish after 6 pm for the night.

Thanks for the replies. I'm still considering it, but likely to appear. Looks like it'll be 40 mins from the office to get there, so I figure probably 5 ish.

Library room or something isn't it?

I shall *try* to behave myself, ie; not get totally blotto

Yes, the library. When you come in off the Esplanade, the bar is in front of you; bear left past the bar and then left again into the library.

As to not getting totally blotto, why come at all?

Ta, we'll aim for one of those. The latest plan is that Batsman is coming too so we will arrive around 8pm. Try not to be too drunk before then.

Yes. As you come in off the Lakeshore/Gardiner onto Yonge Street (North) you take the first right on to the Esplanade.

Then about fifty yards down you turn right onto Church street and there is a car park with a fixed fee straight ahead that you can't miss.

For the day it's usually $9 so I'd guess similar for the evening.

If you miss the Esplanade which looks narrow due to the scaffolding currently there making it one lane you can just take the next right you can and then right on Church again. The car park is at the southern end of Church and cannot be missed.

I appreciate this.

As I am not really a pub/bar person I find drunkenness awkward and unsociable.

Thanks. I could have sworn the Esplanade was pedestrian only. I must remember not to stagger so much this time.

It's not practical to drive around that area because of the one way streets, dead ends and construction at the moment but that car park is easily accessible and easy to get back to the highway or Lakeshore after.

There is no need to nominate me for Most Helpful Poster at the end of this calendar year.
