Re: Chocolate éclairs
There's plenty of time to get adults beverages as there's the Granville Island Brewery just up from the dock plus, if we're going posh, there's a fancy wine shop near the market as well.
There was quite a discussion going on about your snow crabs yesterday. We were wondering how far out the boats have to go and is it just commercial or can you crab recreationally? Plus how long do you have to cook them? The Keg is having a Crab Celebration going on at the moment. Ours are cheaper. Crab Celebration |
Re: Chocolate éclairs
Commercial licences only as far as I know - The guys normally do 3 day trips , I will have to ask how far out they actally go
As for cooking we use the same CT pots and burners you buy for the deep fried turkey - Ideally we fill the bottom 3 inches with sea water (usually we forget the sea water so just use tap water and sea salt :D ) Get the water boiling and fill the pot to the top with crab then throw the lid on - Steam for no more than 15 minutes throw them on the table in the shed , everyone starts getting in about them with steak knives then get the next pan load on  will take some pics of the operation the next time that will more than likely bore the tits of 99% of the forum :D (may even start a new thread rather than hijacking another chocolate eclair thread  ) |
