ChitChats - Cheaper shipping option to the UK
Just wanted to share my recent experience with ChitChats for the first time today. They are a shipping "middleman" company that offers discounted shipping compared to couriers and CanadaPost. I just sent off a large 2kg box off to family in the UK with them today and it cost $82, compared to CanadaPost wanting $125. Just had to print off the label and drop it off at the ChitChats location in Langley.
Don't be gouged by CanadaPost sending gifts, there are more affordable options out there! Provided you are near a dropoff location. I consider it one of those kind of essential lifehacks for Canada because CanadaPost is such a rip. Their rates to send within Canada and to the US are better than CanadaPost also.

Arrived today, so took 3 weeks. Not too bad really. The tracking seemed to show it was driven to California, flown to the UK, then delivered there by another courier. Kind of similar to how Parcel2Go works.
