But don't know if anyone else is watching Charlie Boormans Extreme frontiers on Channel 5, all about Canada. Looks like a good series? Might whet peoples' appetite?

Borgman

Or, "An Annoying Fat Twat Goes on Holiday With His Middle-aged Gay Mate.

If that doesn't make people want to emigrate.

it was good but not as good as I'd hoped - I thought he'd be riding his motorbike through the scenery but it was more like 'look at all the mad things I'm doing' which didn't show you much of the country. Which was a shame. But I'll keep watching!

I actually thought that one wasn't too bad, but the Africa one where he [Ewan McGregor] took his wife along was pretty crap.

LOVED the long way round.

Long way down was ok till "the wife" decided she wanted to join in the boys road trip

And the bit where Ewan was at the place where they filmed Starwars and no-one knew him was so funny

Hey! 'Wifes' can ride too you know! I love my bike and have been all over on it. I liked the long way round but there's other 'normal' people that have done exactly the same thing and without all the money, back up vehicles and sponsorship. In my mind, they are the real hero's.:)

I don't think either group could be classed as "hero's".

Hero's of a very loose fashion! True though, I can think of better ones too.

Not a problem at all - it's only links to your own website or product that are not allowed.

Eh? If they do, I'm not aware of it - if you see somebody breaking site rules, then use the report button. We don't read every thread!
