Charleston Church Massacre
How many more people have to die before guns are limited or ammo restrictions in the U S A
Death penalty haters need to look at this as a chance to think again and maybe agree that it is the only sentence worthy of such a cold blooded killer.

I think you are right, more even, the right to bear arms is so strong there they probably ban churches, cinimas and other gatherings before they even look at a ban or restrictions on guns

Re: Charleston Church Massacre
In the US the parties that support freedom to bare arms are the same people supporting the death penalty
Most of the gun control lobby is also anti death penalty
Republican v's Democrat
I would rather see the Russian hard labour camps than the deathly penalty, at least if you get it wrong you can make amends

Agreed, not sure how he was going to start a race war, I thought there was one already ongoing in the US

Poor old Obama has thrown the towel in.
And it's noticeable that the republicans criticising him for politicising the event again (I think Obama is pretty in tune with the ongoing horror the rest of the civilised world feels) choose the opportunity to bang on the fundy drum.
Where's that thread on moving to the states again?

"At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries," Mr Obama said on Thursday morning.

CHARLESTON, S.C. — South Carolina’s governor urged prosecutors Friday to seek the death penalty for the suspected gunman
Suspected ? Huh, very odd how he was taken alive and now safe in police hands, If he had run from a car, resisted arrest or even if he was a black guy I am sure he be dead already.

I saw a post about this on FB- that Mike Brown took drugs/ had previous, etc and this kids was "shy softly spoken boy" basically implying that its racist coverage.
Thing is those were direct quotes, and you could extend this to "shy, softly spoken buy who murdered nine defenseless people".

The woman who spotted the suspects' car was running a little late for work, and she now reckons it was 'divine intervention' that she was late so she could spot the car, she even telephoned a church friend about it BEFORE calling the police, in fact she never called the police, it was the friend.
