Celebrity Croakers 2021
#1

Here is the 2021 thread for Celebrity Croakers!
Rundown of the rules for those of you who want to play this year:
1) Choose 5 people you think will croak this year. For it to count, the death must be reported by any major news outlet (BBC, CBC, CNN, and so on).
2) Points are awarded as 100 minus age of death. (So someone who is 75 when they die earns 25 points)
3) Choose one of your five picks to be your Joker - if your Joker croaks, you will earn double points. (so in the above example, 50 instead of 25)
4) You can make new picks when someone croaks, including your joker
That's it!
Here is the spreadsheet link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=748022747
For those who played last year, I have put in last year's picks. For those of you who want to play, just add your name to the list and put in your 5 picks plus your joker. Please avoid using nicknames as I don't always know who it is so it makes it harder to keep track.
I'll give everyone until January 15th to put in their 2021 picks! No past tense picks (so you can't pick Tanya Roberts lol).
Happy croaking everyone!

Thank you kindly. Entered my picks, probably messed it up and have some that will not be worth any points if the shuffle off.

I was really tempted to pick Joe Biden, he looked awfully shaky walking up to the podium to speak last night. I think adrenaline might see him through 2021 though, let's see for 2022... I still predict Kamala Harris will be President before the next election.

Tommy Lasorda died yesterday. He may not be as well known outside the US though. His fame came from baseball.

We were sitting in the bar watching the game, and they had a close-up of Tommy Lasorda, and Dean said "They ought to be drug testing that guy!"

I remember him best from the ultra slim fast commercials of my childhood era. They aired a lot in the late 80's and early 90's with him.

We saw him at the old Houston Astrodome probably in 1989. He was equally loved and hated it seemed by all fans. Quite a character. My son and daughter used to play Tommy Lasorda Baseball on their Nintendo way back in the day!
