Most Daily Mail readers do need explicit guidance in how they are to view public figures. "Robbo" the union leader is too ambiguous for them. Are they meant to support his attempts to provide well-paid jobs for British people? "Red Robbo", however, is much easier to understand... he is clearly a Russian plant hell-bent on garroting the Queen and destroying UK industry. I'm actually awaiting the right wing media to call out their previous darling Noel Edmonds for having the temerity to sue the banks for 300-odd million.

This is from yesterday, but Roy Halladay, former pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies - Roy Halladay: Former Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies pitcher dies in plane crash - BBC Sport
I went to lots of Jays games in the 90/00s, my dad regularly got tickets and I loved going. I remember watching him pitch, he was a great player.

It seems like the aircraft may not have been quite up to scratch, though... the creator and chief engineer died in the same plane earlier this year.

I've been flying since 1970 and I'm still doing it as often as I am able. I'm ballooning in California at the moment and I wouldn't do that if I didn't think it was safe. Of course there is some degree of risk with just about all activities but by taking all precautions one can minimize that risk. I'll be lifting off again in about 90 minutes with a payload of skydivers. It's good flying weather here today.

How many balloon trips have you been on?

If the death doesn't get reported in this thread, and often unless someone points out that they have him, it sometimes gets missed. I don't check every single death report against the spreadsheet, I rely on people to help out a bit. Ian Brady died back in May, and you are the only person who had him, so obviously it got overlooked. I've updated the spreadsheet with your 21 points and you need a new pick.
Ill take Kirk Douglas as my pick
