Let me guess.

Meryl Streep in the role of mandy? Dustin Hoffman as ultrarunner? Harry H. Corbett as dbd33 is a given of course, as is Anthony Hopkins as Souvy.

I could imagine Sean Connery as Jings, Stephen Fry as Oakvillian (minus the gayness), Alan Shearer in a debut role as JonboyE and perhaps Johnny Rotten as Oink.

I'm struggling a bit for you, perhaps a younger Bogart?

I can go with that. Brian Blessed in Z-cars or Brian Blessed as Augustus Caesar?

Likely the former, but I was playing with images of Newt Gingrich.

Oh no, that's the one to play Lord Vader, (or a possible stand in for Dustin as ultrarunner).

The reference is, of course, to the matter of the tiger under the table.

Hahahahahaha - I shall invent an honourary category called "comment of the year" and declare this the instant winner. Priceless.

I'll take being played by Meryl Streep although she does have a good 20 years on me - unless you are saying I look 62 in which case - DO ONE. ;)

Oh no. Meryl looks much younger. Anyway I was thinking of the early years, but mostly that she and you both have a lot of neck.
