She apologized (awfully nice of her) and the police and RSPCA declined to charge her. She had to have protection but don't know if she still does. There was a story in the papers that the council were going to fine her for putting the cat in the wrong bin!! Sick woman.

On a side note, isn't it a little odd for mr and mrs average to have cctv installed at their home in a quiet residential street?

Apparently their car had been damaged or an attempted break-in or something like that so wanted to catch whoever was doing it.
