Hey, just a moment. Don't go knocking coconut oil ! If you use it with kale it makes it that much easier to scrape it off the plate into the compost bin.

Re: Cannabis

People aren't really bothered where they get their pot so my guess is if there is not enough to go round legally then street dealers will still have a lucrative market

But won't it just be like the bloke who delivers (probably illegally) booze to you after 11:00pm?

I don't have an issue with pot itself, I do have an issue with people smoking in a workplace that is safety sensitive which is far too common in Canada where drug testing tends to be non-existent.

In my job for example in the US, one is tested for both alcohol and drugs on hire and throughout employment on a random unannounced basis, where in Canada the only time I see it done is if an accident has occurred.

I have a hard enough time remembering to do things at work when I'm sober. God knows what it would be like coming to work high on weed. I'd probably just stare at my screen all morning.

Probably not weed, but these cashiers (not customers) appear to be high on something

The age to buy pot in BC was released earlier today. 19 years of age.

I better invest in a Kebab van to make way for all the stoners with the munchies..

Marijuana use down among minors, up among older Canadians, StatsCan study finds - Politics - CBC News

"Canadians consumed 698 tonnes of cannabis in 2015, up from 484 tonnes a decade ago, and up from 324 tonnes in 1995.""Older Canadians consume bigger quantities, according to the report.
"The compositional change in the cannabis market is consistent with a change where the baby boomer cohort was exposed to cannabis in high school and university, and carried a preference for cannabis consumption with them as they aged," the report notes."
