Someone on the radio was saying that the olympics should only have events where a world record exists. Raises all kinds of possibilities - Fastest mobility scooter, pogo stick jumping, wing eating.

I expect the concentration on their athletes, fair enough, but its just they keep banging on about them when they're not even competing in that particular event, round or even in remote contention.
