I am going to see how the commute goes, I have a couple of options open to me if the commute starts wearing me down. I think I will make that decision once probation is done...cant take anything for granted these days!

Im just glad to have a chance to get back into the land of living after spending almost a year in the wilderness of of life!
That's not so bad, I've a friend who has been travelling that commute for years. I mean going to work in that area for years not taking years to drive there.

It covers many medications but not all.

Covers some extended health.

Also provides $52 a month for transportation or a transit pass whichever one prefers.

Unsure if the $52 transportation benefit ends when the exemption his hit or if it stays.

Daughter struggles to find work in Ontario, she's working as a cleaner right now but needs to earn more dollars as they are struggling to make ends meet, yes I could bung her some dosh, but she needs to learn etc (Bank of Mum and Dad is very selective of when cash is sent )She's hoping to get on at the Steel plant, not quite what Mum and Dad envisioned but again, she needs to learn...

It is, but it is also pushing up prices, so by and large we are not a lot better off and those on fixed incomes are worse off.

Doesnt seem to be any real solution.

Canadas high cost of living really creates a problamtic situation and low quality of life.

Those on fixed income housing is typically the biggest exspense. The best way to help those on fixed low incomes is for govt to step up and either build social housing or offer rental assistance that reflects reality.

For a single on disability housing part for Vancouver should be at least 1,200/mo far from the 375 govt provides.
