Canada- EU trade deal signed.

So the free Trade deal between Canada and the EU is signed but needs tweaking and ratifying so what does this mean to us normal folk?

So will we get cheaper Mercedes, BMWs and Audis
Those UK goodies you get in specialty stores might end up being a few cents cheaper
Internet shopping will boom if they remove the duties on EU made clothing, fabrics and shoes.
Im wondering if it will be a phased in reduction of tariffs over several years like the US FT deal was or go all out and say as of such a date all tariffs are eliminated.
And the BIG ONE
EU cheesemakers will have an extra 16,000 tonnes to export to Canada, an increase over 13,000 tonnes.

Yeah but most of the tax on booze is provincial isn't it? I just looked at the tariff guide and there isn't that much tax on wine and beer now. It's the provincial taxes that make it expensive. After all, most of it is made domestically or in the US anyway already and is covered by NAFTA.

Hmm.. disappointing. That the same for spirits imported from EU? That's where all the good stuff comes from.

Beer prices make me so angry!

There is a mistake in that table, the import limit for Alberta is 45.45 litres: http://www.aglc.gov.ab.ca/liquor/faq...ersonalimports

The 9.09 litre limit is only for arrivals by air.
