My original plan to move to the North Pole fell through, I've heard brain surgeons are on the skills in demand list.

Shouldn't take me more than a week to get qualified, whats the average rate of pay like?

$5,000,000 a week, however, depending on were you want to live that might not be enough to cover mortgage, car insurance, gas, electric, water, decent supply of snow shovels and or dental and medical cover...you have been warned!:p

Where would be a better place to settle as a family, Kabul or Calgary? I am a qualified telephone hygenist and like to windsurf in my spare time.

You should spend at least 2 days in both places before you decide.

Maybe you should consider Halifax if you're into windsurfing. Housing is cheaper than Cal-gree but more than Kabul. The harbour is THE place to windsurf. Here's a photo of it. It's the new Lawrencetown Beach. Surfers paradise.

I'm not sure exactly. I've only ever heard about it. But if the job here is no more, he'll have to look somewhere else.
