Not fail ... I only enjoy the waggling when it's done to newbies. Waggling at other veterans just doesn't do it for me.

Yes - it's not very exciting round here atm is it. I miss the halcyon days of butch's hissy fit. I'd throw one but you need 10k+ posts to make that kind of shenanigans interesting.

Actually both variants acceptable in british english. The s is preferred, but the z is still valid.

Its acceptable in North America, primarily the USA, but the acknowledged correct spelling in the UK and Canada is with an 's'

I don't find karma that much of a motivator to be honest.

FWIW I remember an episode of inspector morose where the great detective alluded to spelling with a zed being something of a public school trait....

s or z is fine I guess. Picking on spelling in forums always struck me as something people do when they have nothing better to say, but that's pretty much the nature of this thread I guess....

True - but it links to the oxford english dictionary website - I assume they know what they are talking about.

That is, of course, your prerogative. I'm not going to apologize for the surprize you got after analyzing the web page and realizing I was correct. I should emphasize that the standardized spelling can be an s or a z

Only this week? I suspect you can go back a way bit farther than that.

It's has its moments, on and off, though.

We were both correct, however my spelling is more acceptable in English and your's in North American English.

Yes, I can't argue with that. Annoyingly I have an american english spell checker installed in FF - I guess I should change that

Have any of you spotted my aunt lately? She was supposed to come home last night about 11:30pm with an Urban Fare ready meal for me. She is in her late 80s and slightly hunchbacked.
